Weekend in Rome
When I love a place so much, I find it harder to write as I feel that I cannot fully express the beauty of the place. Rome is definitively one of those places and its so rich in history. I went on a weekend trip to Rome with my husband this past January and we absolutely loved it. We did a walking tour on Saturday through a Korean agency and explored the city on our own on Sunday until we flew back to London.
The river here was absolutely beautiful 🙂
and we drank coffee and beer while enjoying the beautiful view of Rome.
Can you see the cute pigeon enjoying the view as well? 😉
we had some delicious pizza at Pinsere
and went to the Colosseum
On our way to the walking tour my husband accidentally tore his expensive Canada Goose jacket!! (broke my heart 😦 )
this guy looks like he is floating! 🙂
delicious pasta. This one was baked in the oven
and my favorite gelato which I blogged about here
cute horse and the policeman. one of my favorite photo from the trip 😉
after our walking tour we went to an all-you-can-eat buffet. But beware as you get charged if you have any leftovers.
and the beautiful Vatican. I’ve always missed this beautiful ceiling since my visit 15 years ago.
and before flying back to London we had the most amazing pasta 🙂
hope you guys enjoyed!
