Afternoon Tea at The Ritz
One of my favorite traditions in Britain is the Afternoon Tea, which started with Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford, who complained of “having that sinking feeling” and started this tradition of having tea with snacks. I heard wonderful stories of Afternoon Tea served in the beautiful Palm Court at The Ritz where you need to book almost a month in advance. When I was able to make a very last minute reservation, I decided to take my mother-in-law on a date here 🙂 (we were originally planning to go to Fortnum & Mason which I blogged about here).
afternoon tea is a must for anyone visiting UK 🙂
