5 Hours in Venice
My husband and I went on a short trip to Milan this summer (which I blogged about here). We noticed loads of day trips from Milan to all over Italy and we spontaneously decided to go to Venice.
Venice is a beautiful city made of 100’s of small islands. There’s no cars in Venice and you can see loads of gondolas. There was a fierce competition for the gondolas. Can you see the long line in the photo above?
The entire city was beautiful. I hear it’s best to visit Venice during the spring and fall as it’s less crowded and you can enjoy the nice breeze.
The infamous Piazza San Marco (also known as St. Mark’s Square).
Our tour guide took us to see how all these beautiful Venetian glasses are made.
And we had delicious Italian pasta… 🙂
And delicious seafood. Just looking at this picture is making me hungry.
Hope you guys have a lovely weekend! 😉
Xoxo,
J
We just got back from Venice on Monday – such a stunning city… will be blogging about it soon too…
