My Favorite Cup of Coffee in NYC
So I’m back in NYC for the next few weeks and I’m really glad that I can finally drink my favorite cup of coffee. As many of you know, I love coffee which I blogged about here. In fact, the first thing I missed in London was a fresh cup of coffee from Blue Bottle. Any coffee fanatic in or traveling to NYC should checkout Stumptown and Blue Bottle Coffee.
I personally prefer Blue Bottle as it’s right around the corner from my work place and its right in front of Bryant Park. Who can complain drinking coffee in Bryant Park especially in this spring weather? 🙂
My favorite is the Bella Donavan handdrip coffee which has a bit of a high price of around $3.50 but it’s totally worth it. Other good cafes in Midtown are Grumpy Cafe, Joe’s coffee, and Culture Espresso (see this article for 21 best coffees in NYC).
Do any of you love coffee? If so, what’s your favorite cup of coffee?
Xoxo,
J

I’ve learned that the two things that make the most difference are the type of beans and coffee brewer. The same coffee will taste quite different brewed in various ways such as drip, home (not commercial) Bunn as opposed to regular drip pots, French press, and others. You’ll have fun trying new beans and methods!

Recently Blue Bottle Coffee have opened some branches in Japan but the shop is very popular and you have to make a line for about 30 minutes to get the coffee. I will try my first Blue Bottle Coffee when I visit NY in June. I look forward to it!

Didn’t know Blue Bottle was in NYC. My son who was a chef in San Francisco introduced me to it.

We have a place in Detroit called Red Hook that serves Stumptown Coffee–love it! Have you tried Cold Brew coffee yet? Super popular out here, has a great, smooth taste.

Very nice post! I love turkish coffee blends especially with chocolate 🙂 Sometimes too much keeps me up all night so I drink it in a small tea cup.
